RTTP | Reindustrialization and Technology Training Program
In order to enhance and support local enterprise personnel in Hong Kong to learn high-technology, ITF (創新及科技基金) and VTC (職業訓練局) have launched a funding programme ” Reindustrialisation And Technology Training Programme 再工業化及科技培訓計劃” (RTTP) to subsidies local companies on a 2:1 matching basis to train their staff in advanced technologies, especially those related to “Industry 4.0”
What type of companies is eligible to apply for the training grant?
The maximum annual funding is HK$500,000 for each eligible company. 50% of the approved training grant can be released to the companies upon request before course completion.Approved RTTP offers up to 2/3 course fee reimbursement upon successful applications. For details: https://rttp.vtc.edu.hk.
Companies that meet the following 3 conditions will be eligible to apply for RTTP –
- Registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310)
- Non-government and non-subvented organisation
- Hong Kong permanent resident with the necessary background / experience relevant to training course
